Our Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program was created for people with both a chemical dependency and a psychiatric diagnosis. Participants typically have difficulty maintaining abstinence, may have relapsed, may be at risk of hospitalization, or may be mandated to attend an intensive treatment program by the court or other entity. The program works to promote sobriety, gain a better understanding of substance abuse and mental illness, and develop a relapse prevention plan.
Adults receiving inpatient care can prepare for a successful transition to outpatient care and home by participating in the Intensive Outpatient Program . Adults with chemical dependency (CD) diagnosis will benefit following medical detoxification and will receive an individualized treatment plan that addresses thoughts, feelings, and behaviors contributing to addiction. They will also develop and implement a personal recovery and relapse prevention plan. Medications may be used as a supportive therapy. See below for more information on our CD treatment program.
