Services
Inpatient Treatment
Parkside’s inpatient treatment programs help stabilize and treat people in crisis. Parkside provides inpatient hospital services for both adults and youth, ages 6 to 17 years old. In all units, patients benefit from physician directed care, intensive daily structure, individualized treatment plans, and individual family and group therapies.
Residential Treatment (also known as Acute2)
Youth between 6 and 17 years of age who need ongoing and extensive support receive care at our residential treatment facility. Boys and girls suffering with depression, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma and behavioral problems learn skills designed to help them respond to life’s challenges in a healthier manner. Family therapy and school, provided on site, are part of each child’s treatment.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
Often, people begin taking pain medications after an accident or illness and find they cannot stop. Parkside has an effective treatment option for substance abuse or pain medication dependence. For those who suffer from prescription drug dependence, the chemical dependency intensive outpatient treatment program may be the answer.
Outpatient Treatment
Our outpatient programs serve ages 6 years through adulthood who are struggling to cope with various life problems. Our counseling services focus on providing needed treatment while allowing patients to continue with their daily home lives.
Adolescent Psychiatry
Children should be nurtured. However, for many, growing up is stressful and brings with it emotional and behavioral problems. In some cases, physical or mental health concerns will require outside help. Parkside offers a variety of programs and treatment options to best serve the needs of children and adolescents.
Assessment and Referral
Our staff is comprised of licensed mental health professionals highly skilled in assessing crisis and responding appropriately. Our staff provides compassionate support to families involved. Crisis can happen at any time, day or night; therefore, our Assessment and Referral Staff is available 24 hours a day.
Substance Abuse
As a substance abuse and behavioral health treatment center, Parkside offers effective treatment programs for individuals dealing with substance abuse and chemical dependency, including prescription drug dependence.
